New Insight into How the Body Tells Time
Circadian Rhythms follow an almost 24-hour clock and continue to figuratively tick away and measure time regardless of the amount of light or dark found outside our window. There are other rhythms that help to form a creature's natural rhythm that are guided by external cues such as the sun, but Circadian rhythms refused to be fooled. Scientists are gaining a more clear understanding of the reasons for this now, thanks to this study on the Drosophila fruit fly.
