Cardinal Joseph Ratsinger Participated in the Nazi Youth Organization Hitler Jugend

Rome. Cardinal Joseph Ratsinger, who is considered one of the main pretenders to take the Pope’s place, has never denied his having been a member of the Nazi youth organization Hitler Jugend. Cardinal Ratsinger just asserts that he was forced to become a member of the organization when he was still a schoolboy, RFI informed. The membership in Hitler Jugend was obligatory to all the schoolchildren in the St. Michael seminary, which Cardinal Joseph Ratsinger entered in 1941. “ Once I left the school I broke off all relations with the organization,” the Cardinal stated. Today Cardinal Joseph Ratsinger is considered the Leader of the conservatively-minded circle of the Roman Catholic Church.
