Corp: Buy 5 app habeldiers and 1 app pike / take your freebie

1st Corp-Sergeant: Dismiss your freebie if it is not good. Dissmiss all injured soldiers and keep buying app habeldiers. Don't promote anyone!

Staff Sergeant: Dissmiss injured soldiers/bad freebie and buy app habeldiers.

Normally 5-6 habeldiers are ready for promotion, promote them.

Master Sergeant-Sgt Major: Check your income, if you havn't enough space to buy a habeldier, check if your freebie is good/bad, if bad, dismiss it and buy a habeldier. Promote a few habeldiers and get your freebie

3rd Lieutenant: Buy app habeldiers till you reach your wage limit. If space left, buy a drummer. Promote everyone that you can. Normally here will end your first run soon, but your app will be ready for promotion soon!

2nd Lieutenant - Lt col: Keep promoting everyone who's ready and get your freebies every rank. [you'll not be able to buy new soldiers anymore]


Method 2
Archer Army

corporal-3rd lieutenant:
-buy only app. archers, dismiss freebees when you gain a rank to buy more new archers.
3rd-lieutenant:
-buy as many normal archers that you can afford.
2nd lieutenant:
-buy as many advanced archers that you can afford
2nd-lieutenant-maj general:
buy as many adv. archers as your wage allows you everytime you gain a rank.

Promote all archers up to adv. when they gained enough xp. Do NOT promote archers up to veteran or higher level till you reach Maj General.

From lieutenant till maj general level, if an archer gets injured, force-heal it! You can afford it easely...


Method 3

Halb + pikeman

This is the method i use.
Gray rank, buy app pikeman and replace with a new app pikeman when they injure. Promote them when they are avalable.

3rd Liutenant-liutenent
buy as much app.Halb as possible and train in "WOOD" because in wood, there are some artilerry where they hav low Racc at low level so your army won't get injured. stil the same, promote them when avalable, keep the pikeman u carry from gray rank and keep all freebie except those healer. u no need healer anyway. You are properly will raise to 2nd liutenant and able to buy some new unit, if u have any injured pikeman, release them and buy app.halb. keep promote them and u will not be able to buy any unit in future level up and u will just receive freebie. But remember, what u want is level up ur commander not ur unit.

DO NOT promote them when they reach Vet. The reason is u need to wait more than 5 tick if u promote them to master and Vet is more than enough for u to gain XP.
